Course Overview
The ETDP Design and Develop Assessments course is intended for professionals who need to create assessments aligned with defined learning outcomes, unit standards, qualifications or curriculum requirements.
Learners develop the ability to interpret outcomes, apply assessment-design principles and create assessment activities and supporting guides. The programme also covers the evaluation and review of completed assessment tools to ensure that they support credible, fair, reliable and unbiased assessment decisions.
The assessment tools developed during the programme may be used within different learning fields, provided the designer has suitable subject-matter expertise or access to an appropriate expert.
